My name is Isabel Perdomo an Industrial Arts graduate student at San Francisco State University (SFSU). Prior to starting my Masters, I was a Designer and the creative lead of the product development wing at Michelle Kaufmann Designs. I also hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interior Architecture from the University of California, Davis.
I was born in Bogota, Colombia and was raised in an environment of awareness of community and social responsibility. While living in Rome, Italy I gained experience as a tour leader and shared my knowledge in history of art and architecture with travelers.
My creative work involves furniture design using reclaimed, sustainable and native materials. The inspiration is based on my Colombian roots.
I enjoy riding my bicycle around San Francisco, walking through old Rome, exploring Bogota and supporting local, sustainable business and markets. Visit my blog: Walking a Line Called Design Follow me on Twitter: ProgettoRED
